News from NeSI and around the world for July.

eResearch Australasia provides opportunities for delegates to engage, connect, and share their ideas and exemplars concerning new information centric research capabilities, and how information and communication technologies help researchers to collaborate, collect, manage, share, process, analyse, store, find, understand and re-use information.

NeSI and the University of Auckland joined forces to host a Software Carpentry workshop at the University of Auckland City campus on July 11-12, 2016.

The Mozilla Science Lab has launched its second annual Mozilla Fellowship for Science call for applications. The deadline is July 15th, 2016 so there isn’t much time, but the fellowships are open to Australians and New Zealanders.

A two-day Software Carpentry course was hosted at the University of Canterbury on the 22nd and 23rd of June. Organising the event was greatly assisted by Sung Bae of NeSI. NeSI also sponsored the refreshments for the coffee breaks during the workshop.
