University of Auckland Winter Bootcamp
Winter Bootcamp is a week long training and education event co-ordinated by the Center for eResearch where you can up-skill in a whole host of topics related to digital research practice. Workshops and seminars range from two-day intensive and hands-on Software Carpentry programmes for general audiences, through to short informational or networking sessions.
Workshop hosts include the Centre for eResearch, Libraries and Learning Services, CLeaR, the New Zealand eScience Infrastructure, Faculty of Science and Faculty of Medical and Health Sciences
NeSI is hosting five workshops at the Bootcamp:
- Software Carpentry with Python
- Hands-on Introduction to HPC using NeSI
- Introduction to MPI (Message Passing Interface)
- Introduction to OpenMP - Entry Level Parallelisation
- Advanced MPI (Message Passing Interface) - Tuning and Performance Analysis
