WHPCAusNZ launches newsletter and calls for community ideas to set 2021 priorities
During 2021, the Women in HPC Australasia Chapter will focus on coordinating and delivering 1-2 key activities or initiatives to improve diversity, inclusion, balance and belonging in HPC and eResearch across New Zealand and Australia.
To help decide its 2021 priorities, the Chapter Organising Committee (which includes reps from NeSI, AeRO, NCI Australia, Pawsey Supercomputing Centre, and Monash University) is asking community members to complete a short survey.

Connect with the community
Since launching last October, the WHPC Australasian Chapter has been setting up new channels and spaces for community members to connect online. This month, it has launched a newsletter!

Meet the Committee
The WHPC Organising Committee is comprised of the following member organisation representatives:

- Aditi Subramanya – Pawsey Supercomputing Centre
- Aidan Muirhead, Adam Hunter-Koros and Lucy Guest – National Computational Infrastructure Australia
- Loretta Davis and Jenni Harrison – AeRO – Australasian eResearch Organisations
The committee aims to meet monthly and will be using feedback from its community survey to set its priorities for initiatives to deliver in 2021.
