Now accepting applications for Carpentries instructor training 2021

We are now accepting applications for the Carpentries instructor training workshop happening this May - it is a wonderful learning opportunity for people wanting to develop their teaching skills, teaching attendees how to create a great learning environment and run effective training events. If you want to know more about instructor training you can read about one of our past instructor training events here or check out the materials that will be covered at the workshop here.

The May workshop will take place online on Tuesdays and Wednesdays in May (8 sessions total).  The workshops covers two full days of content, therefore, attendees are expected to attend all sessions:

  • May 4th and 5th 1-3pm NZST
  • May 11th and 12th 1-3pm NZST
  • May 18th and 19th 1-3pm NZST
  • May 25th and 26th 1-3pm NZST

Seats are limited, so if you would like to attend the May instructor training please fill out the application form (link below) by April 12th 

When filling out the application form please select "open training application" and for "Affiliation*" type "New Zealand"
