Introduction to R (for Genomics)

NeSI and Genomics Aotearoa will host an online introductory workshop to help you get started with R for genomic data analysis. Specifically, attendees can expect to learn: 

• The basic features of the R language
• Getting started with tabular data
• Aggregating and analysing data
• Data visualisation
• Producing reports with R Markdown

Prerequisites:

This online workshop is for beginners but basic genetics knowledge is expected as genomics datasets and examples will be used. Learners should have some familiarity with biological concepts and must bring their own laptops. This is a hands-on workshop and participants are encouraged to participate actively.
