Software and Data Carpentry Instructor Training 2018

NeSI is going to run country-wide Software and Data Carpentry Instructor Training 2018. The event will take place on April 23-24, 2018 and will be held at the Victoria University of Wellington.

We want to make sure there is well-balanced regional coverage of certified instructors throughout New Zealand to enable research institutions to run training events as often as they need. For the same reason, we are looking for applicants who plan to and can teach at workshops. We are committed to increasing diversity among the Instructor pool in New Zealand so we welcome and encourage applications from a variety of backgrounds.

There is no fee for attending the training, however you need to secure your own funding to cover any travel and accommodation expenses.
